Red Laser Beam

It shone through the window, then curtain, then onto the rug. The sparkling light moved towards Phil. His unsuspecting eyes moved faster than fast would naturally allow. He aimed his mittens at the beam that approached, cautiously, though with rage. Phil dodged the red rays with a cool burst of speed.

Right.

Left.

Circle.

Right again.

And forced into a corner.

Phil dug into the rug where the red laser beam rested, tearing apart six-hundred dollars worth of shag. Shards of fabric flung all about.

“Bad, Kitty!”
