Go shoppingIt’s been a great few years for the UK: we’ve just hosted the Olympics successfully; saw Andy Murray win Wimbledon; our TV shows have taken over US airwaves, with shows like Idris Elba’s Luther; and we actually had a heat wave this summer after an admittedly long winter—in short, there’s a really good vibe going around the UK, and we want to keep it going with our coverage of what looks to be another fantastic Edinburgh Festival season.
While we’re there, we’ll be hanging out with the likes of up and coming American comedian Michael Che, getting political with Alasdair Gray, asking whether he thinks Scotland should stay or go (I think we can all guess his answer, but who knows), catching up with our friend Evie Wyld and many more! Check out our interviews on LitroTV, follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and hang out with our Edinburgh blogger, Meghan Beller.
We’re also going to be running a joint competition with The Folio Society. We want to hear what you’ve thought of the festivals so far, so send your reviews of individual shows and/or the festivals in general to info@www.litromagazine.com. We’ll choose a winner and a runner-up and post their reviews. The winner will also receive three Folio titles and free Litro membership!
Check here on Monday to see what we’ve been up to!
