Go shoppingAs we know that many of our readers are writers themselves, we are pleased to let you know that Verity Bargate Award has just been announced. If you are an up-and-coming writer of plays, or looking to write for the theatre, then this competition is an excellent opportunity to see your work be recognised, performed and receive a cash prize. Even if you aren’t able to enter, the Soho Theatre is running a series of writers workshops as a prelude to the close of the competition which might well prove to be very interesting and useful for any budding playwrights. Full details of this are below.
The Verity Bargate Award is a national competition for the best new play by an emerging writer. The winner will receive:

* The chance to have their play produced by Soho Theatre
