All May and June: The Rebel Dining Society’s ‘The Green Hour’ Dinner, £40

The Special Relationship is back, every first Wednesday of the month! Join bass-baritone Martin Lamb and pianist David Eaton at the V&A for an hour-long exploration of some of the real-life Victorian figures who inspired the characters of the Savoy Operas. Illustrated by songs from Gilbert & Sullivan’s best-known works, this event offers a fresh perspective on a Victorian institution and Gilbert’s attitudes towards the society in which he lived.
