Omer Friedlander was born in Jerusalem. After finishing high school, he volunteered with at-risk-youth for a year and taught English to a Masai tribe in Tanzania. Later he moved to Paris for several months to study and focus on his writing, and next year he will begin his studies at the University of Cambridge.
