Kelly Lyles was born in the USA, but the family immediately moved abroad where they lived for 12 years : Switzerland, England, Denmark and Japan, coming to the United States in 1968. This International schooling provided the gift of adaptation and she continues to travel for pleasure and business, having led art delegations to China, Eastern Europe, Cuba and next (hopefully, in February 2019) will be South Africa. There’s often an element of humour to her work, especially in these trying times the world needs laughter. Traveling the world Kelly found that to be universal.... Her paintings, studio, home & Artcars - the ultimate in public art, driving a decorated vehicle daily- have been featured in numerous television shows, magazines, newspaper articles, multiple books and in several documentary films.
